The Golf Widow and the Old Man will do field work at Oakmont CC during the U.S. Open in June. Help them out, they are traveling to Pittsburgh on a shoestring. The Old Man will be on his own at South Park Municipal, a stop on golf’s Chitlin’ Circuit during the Jim Crow era and the home of an Expressionist clubhouse designed by Henry Hornbostel. A foursome represented the club at Foreground. We expected better from CLUI, to put it charitably.

Our own Mike Gallivan will play in the Black Isle Open Foursomes next week at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club. Because the Founder is a social member there, New Monuments intends to support Mike's endeavors. Follow the action as he submits his receipts.

The club sponsored an outing to the Charles "Teenie" Harris Archive (search: golf). An excellent time was had by all who went.
